Any show I direct or choreograph I have to feel passionate about, it might be a show that's not done often like Victor/Victoria or one where there is a strong message like Priscilla Queen of the Desert. I will research in detail the period the show is set in and aim to recreate that authenticity in the production, whether that's the set or costumes. I'll always look to put a twist in there as well, something unexpected or suitably spectacular that the audience is not expecting but ultimately I want to ensure that the story is told and the audience is entertained.
